From arrival to departure, staff were friendly and helpful. Every request was met with positively even though at times we were quite a large and indecisive party! There was adequate space for us to meet as a larger group without feeling as though we were imposing on other guests. Our room was spotless and a good size for the price. The "behind the scenes" staff were as friendly and accommodating as the "front of house" staff. Food was delicious and reasonably priced and the choice for breakfast was excellent. Hotel and grounds were very attractive.

I stay in a lot of hotels in the UK and there are very few that deliver or make me leave a positive review. The staff were amazing, every one I spoke to were warm, friendly and went above and beyond. Other hotels could learn a lot from a visit here. Special mention to the lovely lady on reception and the lady who greeted me at breakfast. Breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I've had. All really fresh, well cooked and great selection.

Tina gave a lovely warm welcome each morning at breakfast time and made sure we were look after. She's great. Breakfast fresh and tasty. Room was very comfortable and spacious with a large bathroom.

Very nearly perfect. The Bowden Hall Hotel had nearly everything I would want/expect in a one night stay at a hotel. The facilities, room, comfort, parking ticked all the right boxes. A shout out to the especially polite and approachable staff who made my stay feel much more welcome than most.

I stayed at this Hotel 40 years ago for nearly 3months, and vowed I would one day return, so for our 38th wedding anniversary I booked a room as a surprise for my wife, I was not disappointed, and nor was my Wife, we often go away for special occasions and at this Hotel Bowden Hall was every thing we had hoped for, beautiful location, quiet, and impressive building, and the staff, from the cleaner trying to hoover the entrance, the receptionists, restaurant staff, were all so friendly, efficient helpful and extremely polite. The food was excellent, both evening meal and a superb Breakfast. We WILL BE RETURNING.

Once we entered the hotel main lobby, we were greeted by reception staff with warm welcome and smiling faces. I and my family booked 2 separate rooms which are located adjacently. The room size is quite reasonable. We were luckily to be allocated rooms with air conditioning. This is a bonus 'cos we visited in summer and the outside temperature was around 23-24 deg C. The bar and restaurant are nice and the food/drinks slightly exceeded our expectations, though the choice might be a bit limited.

We stayed for just one night but it was just perfect! Check in was easy and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean, tidy and comfy with some lovely extra touches for our honeymoon! We had dinner in one of the pods, every course was brought out to us to enjoy in the comfort of our private pod. We were so full we asked to have desert later in our room. It was brought right up no problem. We cannot fault the service we received and would recommend to anyone. A special shout out to one particular staff member, Keira who served us all evening. Thank you so much for making the first night of our honeymoon road trip a memorable one!

The lady on reception was the most welcome I have ever felt turning up to a hotel. So bubbly and happy wish I could remember her name, maybe Scandinavian? Beautiful setting and a very lovely hotel with delicious breakfast

The check in was excellent with Sol.She was just so welcoming and good fun.Thank you! Breakfast was really good…and I’ve had a lot of hotel breakfasts! I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and yogurt. Of course I then tucked into a full English. Yummy. Our room was spacious and clean, so what more could we want? If I was in the area again I would return.
